2001-2007 Startup and Exploration

  • In 2001, SIPC was established
  • From 2004 to 2006, SIPC acquired oil and gas assets in Kazakhstan, Angola, Ecuador, Colombia and Russia
  • In 2007, SIPC signed the Yada Oilfield Development Operation Service Contract; Block 18 in Angola was put into production

2008-2015 Rapid Development

  • In 2009, SIPC acquired Addax
  • In 2010, SIPC acquired the oil and gas assets in Brazil and Argentina, and further expanded the scale of assets in Kazakhstan
  • In 2011, SIPC acquired the Daylight Project, Canada and the APLNG Project, Australia
  • In 2012, the Yada Oilfield Project was put into production
  • In 2013, SIPC acquired a project in Egypt
  • In 2014, SIPC’s first “independently explored, discovered and constructed” Oilfield S in Kazakhstan was put into production

May 2015 to Present Structural Adjustment

  • In 2015, SIPC established a “Shared Service Center”, which later changed its name to “Technical Service Center”
  • In 2017, Yada Oil Field (first phase) formally completed
  • From 2015 to 2018, several offshore oilfields in Brazil and Angola projects were put into production
  • From 2018 to 2019, SIPC proposed “eliminating risks, straightening out management, optimizing the structure” as a top priority of the company for some time to come, asset efficiency is steadily improving
