With business development, the company has conducted the integrated management of public security and HSE, followed closely up the public security information of high-risk regions such as Algeria, Nigeria and Yemen; has conducted the evaluation of dynamic risks of public security and duly adjusted security measures on the basis of evaluation results to ensure the staff and property security of the company. In 2010, on the basis of Sinopec’s security requirements of “training before sending”, the company intensified the training of expatriate staff in public security; by late June, a staff of 244 had been trained, and staff’s sense of public security and capacity for self defense and rescue had been increased significantly.​​
